We are thrashing the Experimental music scene
Briokids was named after the children disfigured by the toxic runoff from the Brio Superfund Site located on FM 1959 Dixie Farm Rd outside of Houston, Texas. Since it’s inception in 1999 all Briokids releases have been released free to the public since inception. All releases are available for free download.
It’s no secret that the quality of music recordings has decreased significantly over the past few decades. The Loudness Wars have forced producers and engineers to make their tracks as loud as possible, often at the expense of dynamic range and overall fidelity. We care about the quality of our music recordings here at Briokids. We want our tracks to sound good on any system, whether it’s a high-end home stereo or a cheap pair of earbuds. That’s why we take care to use only the best recording equipment and techniques. We also believe that the quality of our message is more important than its loudness. We would rather have a track that portrays our message at a moderate volume than one that has to be blasting in order to be heard properly.
